Bindery Supervisor
I started at Raff Printing 22 years ago, being one of the original 15 employees. I started working on the only cutting machine we had. Today we have 4 cutters and 2 helpers. Back in 1984 we only ran 1 shift and off weekends. Now we have 2 1/2 shifts and work nearly every weekend.
I supervise various departments - cutting, folding, book binding, folder/stitcher/trimmer and shrink wrapping. I still have a hand in the hand bindery department as well.
I watched my 3 year old (when I started) grow into a woman and get married. I had a second child come along two years after I started at Raff and somehow still managed to see all of her gymnastic meets, even working weekends since I took over my supervisor position.
It seems like I started here 5 years ago - time flies when you're having fun!
